Privacy at Small Business Solution Journal
What AllSource Data Corporation collects on this site, why, and what controls you have over your data.
Who publishes this site
Small Business Solution Journal is published by AllSource Data Corporation. This page describes how we handle reader data on this site. It is written to be read, not to be filed away.
Reading articles
You can read articles on this site without creating an account, registering, or providing your email address. No registration wall or content gate requires you to identify yourself to access editorial content.
Newsletter subscription
If this site offers a newsletter, subscribing is a separate and voluntary action. Subscription requires you to provide an email address. If you subscribe, every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link you can use at any time to stop receiving messages.
What we collect through the site and why
We use a pixel on article pages. That pixel tells us which articles are being read. We use that information to understand which coverage is useful to our audience and to make editorial decisions about what to cover next.
This site also offers a separate permission control for identity resolution and contact purposes. The permission request presented to you defines its specific purposes. That permission is distinct from newsletter subscription. We do not treat silence, continued reading, or any other passive behavior as permission.
How that permission works
If you grant permission through the consent control on this site, we record a consent receipt at the moment you grant it. If you later withdraw permission, you can do so through the Consent settings available on this site. Withdrawal means we stop processing your data for the purposes covered by that permission going forward. We record the withdrawal in the same way we recorded the original grant, so there is a complete and honest history of both.
The permission request itself describes what data is involved and how it is used. Read it before granting permission. If anything is unclear, do not grant permission until it is.
Anonymous visits
If you read an article without having granted identity resolution permission, we may know that article was read, but we do not necessarily know it was read by you. Pixels associated with identity resolution are not designed to fire without an applicable permission basis.
How to reach us about your data
If you have questions about what data we hold or want to understand the consent record associated with your contact, reach AllSource Data Corporation through the contact information on the AllSource Data Corporation corporate site.
